Printer Options Property Page

This property page contains controls that adjust the format of the printer output.
Note: a few options also apply to the Full Screen Presentation, as noted below.

Page layout
This dropdown listbox selects the page layout style for the printed output. See the page layout topic for more information on page layout.
Always start songs on a new physical page
This check box selects whether or not each song will begin on a new physical piece of paper. This setting will apply regardless of the page layout style.
(ChordPro note: this has the same function as putting a {npp} at the top of every song.)
Mark chorus with
Often musicians find it helpful to have the chorus of a song marked for easy reference. This dropdown list selects a marking style. Several marking styles are available; it is also possible to select "No marking," which will not mark the chorus at all. Note: this setting also applies to the Full Screen presentation.
Repeat song title on songs that overflow
This check box selects whether the title will be repeated (in a smaller font) at the top of the next column or page if a song overflows.
Normal line spacing
This controls the spacing of lines of lyrics and comments, just like line spacing on a word processing program. You may enter fractions of lines, such as "1.5". Note: this setting also applies to the Full Screen presentation.
Chord line spacing
This controls the spacing of lines with chords, so that those lines can have a bit of extra space above the chords. Usually this is set to a slightly larger amount than the normal line spacing; but of course you can use whatever looks good to you! Note: this setting also applies to the Full Screen presentation.
Margins
These fields control the top, bottom, left, and right margins; and the space between columns (for two or four-per-page printing). These values can be set in either inches or mm. For more information, see the Printer Output Margins topic.
Tab characters
If tab characters are contained in the song files (either in lyrics, comments, or titles), they will expand to this distance. Note: tab characters will not align vertically; this is an inline character expansion. (Versions of Songsheet Generator before 2.3 would usually display no space at all when a song file contained a tab character.) This value can be set in either inches or mm.
Set fonts...
This button will bring up the Font Selection Dialog for the Full Screen Presentation.
Footer
Enter text for the footer in this field. For details on formatting the footer, see the footers topic.
Physical page numbering only
When this box is checked, footers and page numbers will apply only to physical pieces of paper. That is, in the Two and Four Discrete Cells per Page layouts, only one footer will be printed, at the bottom of the page. Additionally, a physical piece of paper counts as just one page number.
When this box is not checked, footers and page numbers apply to each cell in the Two and Four Discrete Cells per Page layouts. This can be used to create a half-page-sized songbook; each cell receives its own footer and page number.
