Font Selection Dialog
The Font Selection Dialog allows fine-grained support over fonts for song elements in the Printer and Full Screen output destinations.
Buttons on the output destinations' respective property pages in the Options Dialog
will open the Font Selection Dialog.
Controls
The dialog contains the following controls, in addition to OK and Cancel buttons:
- Font
- This list contains all of the elements (or directives) that have adjustable fonts. Select the font to set from this list.
- Set
- Clicking this button will open a standard Font Chooser dialog, which can be used to set the font attributes for the currently selected element in the Font list.
- Adjust
-
This button is provided as a convenience function to quickly set the font sizes for all elements (or even to "reset" the font sizes).
Clicking this button will adjust all font sizes relative to the current "normal text" font size.
Note: In Songsheet Generator versions prior to 2.3, the font sizes were automatically selected relative to the point size of the "normal text" (lyrics). This button will perform the size adjustment in the prior-to-2.3 way.
- Copy
-
This button is provided as a convenience function to make the font settings consistent between the Printer Output and Full Screen Presentation.
Clicking this button will adjust all of the font settings (except color) to be the same as those from from the "opposite" options settings page. When fonts are being set for the printer, settings will be copied from the Full Screen settings. When fonts are being set for the Full Screen Presentation, settings will be copied from the printer settings.
Note: In Songsheet Generator versions prior to 2.3, the fonts styles for the Printer Output and Full Screen Presentation were always the same.
Font Display
The panel to the right side of the dialog displays the current font style, size, and color for each element. When fonts are being set for the printer, the background is white. When fonts are being set for the Full Screen Presentation, the background matches the currently selected Full Screen background color.
