Features

TimerVision is a simple countdown timer for the new AppleTV. This simple countdown timer turns your TV into a helpful timer display for home or classroom use. The time counts down in hours, minutes and seconds; when it expires, a ring sounds, the display flashes, and the elapsed expired time is shown. Tap or hold down the (+) and (-) buttons to set the time on the main screen, or press the settings button to choose from a list of presets. The timer will display in either a light or dark theme; sound options and tenths of seconds display can be adjusted in the app settings. The timer continues to run in the background when switching to other apps (the timer will not ring when it is in the background, however).

The easiest way (alas!) to find TimerVision is to search for "timerv" in the store.

Using TimerVision

Operating the Timer

Press the Play/Pause or Select button on the Siri remote to start or stop the timer.

Setting the Time

Press the + or - buttons to increase or decrease the time. Continue to press on the buttons and the time will rapidly increase or decrease.

Press the gear (settings) button and choose from a list of preset times (5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 120 minutes) or add and subtract time (10 seconds, 1, 5, 10, 60 minutes) or reset the time to zero.

App & Settings

The following features can be configured in the Preferences:

• Select the color theme of the display (dark/light) (this can also be changed using the light/dark button on the time set presets screen)
• Show or hide tenths of seconds in the timer
• Turn button sounds on or off
• Turn alarm sounds on or off
